The number of suicides in the world today is equal to mortality due to war, and it is sad to realize that most cases could have been prevented. That is why today the World Health Organization is celebrating suicide prevention day, drawing attention to this global problem on a global scale and urging countries around the world to inform their citizens about the value of life and the possibility of real help to a person in a difficult psychological state.

John Iron, nicknamed Pochaevsky lived in the 16th century in Galicia in difficult times, when the people of Orthodoxy were attacked by Polish and Lithuanian magnates. He became a monk as a teenager. September 10, 1693 - the great Russian leader Peter I laid the first ship, which was called "St. Paul". There were 24 guns on the ship. About a month before the event so significant for Russia, the tsar arrived in Arkhangelsk, it was here that he saw the sea and Dutch ships. In Peter's head the idea to found his fleet was born. It took very little time to think, on September 10 the first warship was laid. Construction of the ship began on Solombala Island, located on the Northern Dvina, later a large shipyard was built here.
September 10, 1724 - to the Alexander Nevsky Lavra, created in honor of the victory of the troops of Alexander Nevsky over the Swedes (it is believed that the battles took place exactly at the place where the temple was erected), the relics of the legendary commander were transferred from the glorious city of Vladimir. The initiator of this "relocation" was Peter I. We recall that it was he who laid the first stone of the Alexander Nevsky Lavra and in every possible way contributed to the development of infrastructure around the religious institution.
