But most often, in attempts to preserve beautiful and thick hair, women, and sometimes men, turn to folk recipes.

What causes hair to fall out and when to sound the alarm?

The process of hair loss itself is quite natural for the human body, since several phases go through the process of hair growth and development: anagen (active growth phase), catagen (dormant state), telogen (natural death of the hair, which still remains in the follicle) and early anagen (the emergence of new hair in the hair follicle and the loss of old hair). Loss of up to 50 hairs per day is considered the norm. If this amount is much higher, the hair falls out in strands, the overall density of the hair has decreased significantly, it is worth the alarm and immediately take measures to save the hair.

The main causes of excessive hair loss can be:

• hormonal disruptions;

• pregnancy and the period of breastfeeding;

• stresses;

Homemade Shampoos for Hair Loss

In order to strengthen the hair and help reduce their loss, an integrated approach is needed, which includes the use of homemade shampoos.

1. Shampoo based on kefir with the addition of bran. To prepare it you will need:

• rye bran - 1 tablespoon;

• kefir - 250ml;

• sea salt - 1 tsp.

All ingredients should be mixed to a homogeneous mass and allowed to bran to swell, after which the mixture is applied to the scalp and evenly distributed over the entire length of the hair. Wash off with plenty of warm water.

2. Herbal-based shampoo. In order to prepare herbal shampoo you will need:

• dry hop cones - 3 tablespoons;

• dried nettle - 1 tablespoon;

• soap nuts - 20pcs;

• boiling water - 250ml.

All ingredients should be placed in a deep container and pour cool boiling water. Cover the resulting mixture tightly with a lid and let it brew for 1-1.5 hours, then strain, apply to hair, thoroughly massage the scalp and rinse.

3. Bread shampoo with the addition of burdock oil. To prepare it you will need:

• rye bread - 200g;

• burdock oil - 1 tbsp;

• hot water - 250ml.

Break the bread into small pieces, pour boiling water and leave to soak for 30-40 minutes, then add burdock oil to it and mix. The resulting mixture should be applied over the entire length of the hair, as well as carefully rubbed into the roots. Rinse off with hot water.

For a visible result, home-made shampoos must be used at least 2 times a week.

Tonics against hair loss

In addition to homemade shampoos, tonics are a fairly popular folk remedy for hair loss. Below are the most popular recipes.

1. Tonic with red pepper. To prepare, you will need:

• hot red pepper - 1 pod;

• boiling water - 250ml.

Pepper must be carefully chopped and pour boiling water, then leave to infuse until completely cooled. The resulting mixture should be applied to the scalp, carefully rubbing, at least two to three times a week.

2. Ginger To prepare such a tonic, you need:

• ginger root - 1 pc;

• zest of one lemon;

• boiling water - 250ml.

Ginger must be peeled, grated, mixed with lemon zest, pour boiling water and leave to infuse for 30-40 minutes. The resulting mixture must be cooled and rubbed the resulting liquid into the scalp.

Masks against hair loss

Homemade tonics and shampoos bring quite a good result, however, home masks are the most popular folk remedy for hair loss.

1. Mask for dry hair. To prepare such a mask you will need:

• honey (liquid) - 2 tablespoons;

• almond oil - 10ml;

• cinnamon - 1 tsp;

• ground red pepper - 1 tsp;

• cloves - 1 tsp.

Mix everything thoroughly in a small container, apply to the scalp and let stand for an hour.

2. Mask for dry hair. To prepare, you will need:

• horseradish - 2 tablespoons;

• fat sour cream - 1 tbsp;

• burdock or olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Horseradish should be carefully chopped and mixed with sour cream and butter until smooth. Apply the finished mask to the hair and hold for 40 minutes. Rinse with hot water and a little shampoo.

3. Mask for normal hair. For this mask you need:

• egg yolk - 1 pc;

• mustard powder - 1 tbsp;

• strong black tea - 30ml.

All ingredients should be thoroughly mixed to a homogeneous pasty consistency and applied to the scalp for 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with warm water.

IMPORTANT: if after applying the mask, which includes hot pepper, mustard or horseradish there is a strong burning sensation, you must immediately wash off the mixture and apply a sedative to the scalp, for example, sea buckthorn or olive oil.

4. Universal mask. To prepare, you will need:

• honey - 1 tablespoon;

• burdock oil - 1 tablespoon;

• chicken egg - 1 pc.

• ginger root - 1 tsp.

Ginger should be grated, mixed with honey and burdock oil, add a beaten egg. Apply the resulting mixture to the scalp for 30-40 minutes.

5. Aloe mask. For such a mask you will need:

• aloe - 4 tablespoons;

• honey - 2 tablespoons;

• egg yolk - 1 pc.

Aloe must be crushed to a mushy state, mixed with honey and yolk. The resulting mixture should be applied to wet hair, thoroughly massaging the scalp. To withstand such a mask should be at least 30 minutes, and rinse with warm water, without using shampoo.

6. Vitamin mask. For her you will need:

• fat cream - 2 tbsp;

• Vitamin A - 1 ampoule;

• lemon juice - 10ml.

Mix all the ingredients thoroughly, warm in a water bath to a comfortable temperature and rub into a clean scalp. After 20-30 minutes, the mask should be washed off with warm water.

7. Garlic-onion mask. To prepare such a mask you will need:

• onion - 1 pc.;

• garlic - 1 pc.

Onions and garlic must be peeled, chopped to a mushy state and mixed into a homogeneous mass. Apply the resulting mixture on the head for 1 hour, then rinse with warm water. In order for the hair not to smell onion, they should be rinsed with water, acidified with apple cider vinegar.

8. Onion-kefir mask. This option is convenient in that kefir neutralizes the smell of onions, so after this mask you do not need to rinse your hair with apple cider vinegar. To prepare it you need:

• onions - 1 pc;

• kefir 50ml.

Squeeze the juice carefully from the onion, mix with kefir and apply on clean scalp for 30-40 min. Rinse off the mask with warm water without shampoo.

9. Colorless henna mask. For such a mask you will need:

• colorless henna 2 tbsp .;

• lemon juice - 2 tablespoons;

• egg yolk - 2pcs;

• low-fat cottage cheese - until a creamy consistency is obtained.

All ingredients should be mixed thoroughly, apply the resulting mask for 20-30 minutes, then rinse with warm water.

For convenience, after applying a home mask, you should wrap your head with cling film and tie a scarf around your head so as not to stain your clothes. All of the above masks must be used at least 2-3 times a week to achieve a therapeutic effect.
