Sausage is on sale, able to protect against cancer

Scientists of the Koltsovo science town of the Novosibirsk region have developed sausage on the basis of a special starter culture, which contains eco-substance “kefiran”, which can prevent the appearance of cancer tumors. Last week, the first portion of bioproducts appeared on store shelves.

At present, Novosibirsk scientists have managed to create about 30 types of various meat products based on kofiran. All of them, according to experts, can prevent the development of cancer. The released bio-sausage to taste strongly resembles the traditional "Doctor". In Novosibirsk, they said that by the end of this year, production of eco-safes and eco-safels would be launched.

Scientists working on the production of this product assure that no herbal supplements were used in the manufacture of sausage. Ecocolbasa is a meat raw material and kefinar is a fermented milk product containing a special polysaccharide, discovered by Japanese scientists in the last century.

The spectrum of action of this polysaccharide is wide: it is capable of reducing the level of cholesterol in the blood, has anti-inflammatory, anti-asthma, wound-healing, and, most importantly, anti-tumor effect.
