The male brain is not able to understand female emotions

Scientists have confirmed the axiom that men do not understand women. Especially when you have to "read" female emotions. It turned out that men do not guess female signals not because of laziness or selfishness. It's just that the male brain recognizes male emotions well, but it’s not able to decipher the female ones.

German researchers conducted an interesting test: a group of volunteers, which consisted of 22 young men, was given pictures to look at, which had only one eye - 18 female and 18 male. Note that the respondents had no idea where whose eyes were.

Scientists suggested that test participants try to identify the emotions that express their eyes in the images. For example, “horror”, “fear”, “distrust”, “anger”. As it turned out, men were twice as good at reading out emotions expressed by the eyes of other men, and the feelings of female eyes often became a mystery to subjects.

A brain scan at the time of viewing the images showed that the whole thing is in the work of the brain segment, which is known as the tonsil. Let us explain: this is the brain emotional center responsible for feelings and thoughts about the past. During the examination of male photographs, the tonsil became more active and volunteers compared the image with their sensations. It is possible that the participants in the experiment in those moments recalled moments from their own lives and, relying on them, tried to calculate the emotions of men in the pictures. But at the sight of female eyes, the tonsil "fell asleep."
