Representatives of the stronger sex with enviable regularity forget about things that are of particular importance to a woman. Men at the last minute run for a gift to their beloved wife and do not remember the wedding anniversary. However, these shortcomings do not prevent men from being more romantic than women, American sociologists say.

Specialists studied the results of a global online survey of nearly 70 thousand respondents and issued their verdict - men are more inclined to beautiful than women. They are much more romantic and often succumb to sudden impulses. Interviewees truthfully answered questions about relationships. It turned out that 48% of men fell in love with their partners almost at first sight. A similar indicator among ladies was almost half (28%).

The authors of this case study, professors Chrisanne Northrapp and Pepper Schwartz, who work at the University of Washington, published the survey data in The Normal Bar. It also sounded other rather interesting facts from the field of human relationships. For example, men, despite their sympathy for romance, are more prone to betrayal. 33% of men honestly admitted that they were cheating on partners. Women against their background look quite worthy - only 19% admitted to adultery.

Despite this, the vast majority of respondents (74%) said they were quite happy in the current relationship. 66% said that they were very lucky and a fateful meeting with the "second half" has already taken place.
