Quick pickled cucumbers in a pan (2 hours)

Today we have everything “quick”, so I offer you fast pickled cucumbers in a saucepan. In just two hours you will get the perfect cucumbers as a snack.

Foods in three servings:

  • Fresh cucumbers - 0.5 kg
  • Water - 1 L
  • Salt - 1 tbsp
  • Sugar - 0.5 tbsp
  • Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Hot peppers - 0.5 pods
  • Allspice - 2-3 peas
  • Dill umbrellas - 5-6 pcs.
  • Horseradish sheets - 1 pc. (optional in summer !!!)

Cooking process

Prepare cucumbers and all other products. To make the cucumbers crispy as a result, they must first be put in clean ice water, left for a couple of hours. After trimming the tails of the cucumbers on both sides, cut the cucumbers themselves with elongated cubes.

Prepare a pot. Wash the dill umbrellas and a leaf of horseradish; you can also add any greens and grass from yourself. At the bottom of the pan, lay half the selected greens.

Lay out slices of cucumbers on top of the greens. Pour salt, sugar to the cucumbers, you can add ground pepper. Throw a couple peas of allspice and chili peppers into the pan.

Pour cucumbers with warm water and add vinegar. Spread the remaining greens on top - dill umbrellas and a leaf of horseradish.

Cover the pan and leave the cucumbers at room temperature for several hours.

After a while, you can cool the cucumbers in the refrigerator. And then - put the cucumbers on plates and serve.
